Serving the five prefectures of western Japan (Okayama, Hiroshima, Yamaguchi, Tottori, and Shimane), the Chugoku Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry (中国経済産業局) is the regional branch of Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI).
